Procuros Raises €20M Series A for AI-Native B2B Trade Infrastructure
XAnge led Procuros' €20 million Series A as the Hamburg startup expands the structured supply-chain data layer it says autonomous B2B agents will need.
Procuros has raised a €20 million Series A led by XAnge, with participation from W23 Global and existing investors Point Nine, Creandum and b2venture.
The round at a glance
- Amount: €20 million
- Stage: Series A
- Lead investor: XAnge
- Headquarters: Hamburg, Germany
- Focus: B2B supply-chain connectivity and AI-native trade infrastructure
Procuros connects retailers and suppliers through a shared data layer for orders, invoices and other trade messages. Its argument is that autonomous procurement and supply-chain agents cannot work reliably if the underlying transaction data remains fragmented across PDFs, portals and incompatible legacy systems.
Why it matters
AI agents are increasingly capable of taking actions, but enterprise commerce still depends on structured, trusted connections between counterparties. Procuros is betting that this connectivity layer becomes more valuable as software moves from assisting employees to executing transactions itself.
The Series A will support international expansion and product development. The most important evidence to watch is network growth: connected trading partners, transaction volume, retention and whether AI-driven workflows create measurable expansion within existing customers.
The competitive risk is that established EDI and integration providers modernize quickly enough to absorb the same use cases. Procuros therefore needs to show that its newer architecture materially reduces onboarding time and operating cost rather than simply adding an AI interface to integration software.
