A diligence-first ledger for August 10–18: 17 events with equity, debt, facilities, commitments, funds and undisclosed transactions labeled separately.

This is a classified tape, not one inflated funding total. We found 17 uncovered events for August 10–18. Of those, 13 are plainly labeled equity rounds in the underlying research ledger; the rest need their own capital-type column.

Last verified August 18, 2026. Amounts below follow the cited recap and linked company reporting. “Financing” remains financing when the source does not disclose a cleaner instrument.

How to read this list

Equity can reset ownership and valuation. Debt, bonds and facilities create repayment claims and may be drawn in tranches. EIB financing is institutional capital, not automatically a venture round. Fund closes are commitments to an investment manager, not startup revenue. Undisclosed transactions should not be assigned invented amounts.

That taxonomy is the editorial point. Adding every currency figure into one “European VC raised” total produces a number that is easy to share and hard to use.

What deserves a standalone read

The largest or most strategically distinctive events have separate diligence memos. Use the site search or the August index for OLIX, NavVis, Mindgard, inforcer, iwoca, Greyparrot, ZuriQ, Quartr, 10x Banking, Aiforia, Vertical Aerospace, Inevitable AI Group, Index Ventures, Reach Capital and QuantumLight.

Smaller events remain here until a primary announcement supplies enough product, customer, investor or financing detail to clear the standalone bar. Roundup placement is coverage, not a judgment that the company is unimportant.

Verification notes

  • Currency is preserved as announced; no spot conversion is imposed.
  • “About,” “more than” and “brings total to” qualifiers stay attached.
  • Grants, bonds, facilities and commitments are not counted as equity.
  • Undisclosed transactions remain undisclosed.
  • Reported fundraising talks are excluded from confirmed closes.
