Historic fund capital and vintage
Nauta Tech Invest III is identified by name and at €105M in April 2012 contemporaneous reporting about its investment in Taptap Networks. Nauta describes its 2010 investment generation in its 2026 manager retrospective. These references support the vehicle's identity and capital size, but do not prove an exact day of final closing. No such day is invented.
What Tech Invest III backed
The 2012 Taptap transaction illustrates the fund's early software/mobile-infrastructure orientation: a Spanish mobile-advertising technology business seeking product development and US expansion. The report says Nauta invested €3M in equity as part of a financing that also included a separate CDTI credit facility. The credit facility is not fund equity and the whole startup financing is not an additional raise by the fund.
Later Nauta funds emphasized capital-efficient B2B software, but portfolio companies should only be attributed to Tech Invest III when vehicle-level evidence exists. Fund LP allocations, DPI/TVPI, fee terms and complete deployment records have not been independently verified. For later generations see Tech Invest IV and Tech Invest V.
