Nauta Tech Invest II stages, portfolio and investment profile
Nauta Capital's €50M 2006 institutional investment vehicle. The manager's 2026 history calls this its first institutional fund; the older legal name is Tech Invest II because it followed an earlier smaller vehicle. Contemporaneous portfolio activity includes Agnitio (2007) and Scytl (2007–10). Exact final-close day and investor-level commitments are not verified.

Inside Nauta Tech Invest II's investment strategy
Independent, source-backed analysis of who the firm backs, deal evidence and whether it fits your stage. Research checked 7 Nov 2026.
Vehicle, vintage and fund size
The manager's 2026 twenty-year retrospective identifies its first institutional €50M fund as a 2006 milestone. Contemporaneous December 2007 reporting names Nauta Tech Invest II as the legal vehicle investing in voice-biometrics company Agnitio and states that Tech Invest I and II jointly represented €65M. The institutional-fund label and legal roman numeral therefore differ.
The €50M is fund capital, not an amount invested into Agnitio, and not today's assets under management. No first-/final-close breakdown is reported for this vehicle, so none is inferred.
Investment strategy and portfolio examples
The manager historically backed European and US technology and software businesses through equity investments. A December 2007 Agnitio transaction account reports €2.6M in primary and secondary investment through Tech Invest II. An earlier sourced Scytl financing report is not evidence of an identical cheque size; each portfolio investment requires separate transaction records.
For founders, this was a venture-equity strategy rather than an open application programme or grant. Precise fund-specific management fees, carried interest, remaining NAV and returns are not public in these sources. Follow Nauta Capital, Tech Invest III and their historical successor funds for the chronology.
