Hadrian Raises $40M for Agentic Offensive Security

Amsterdam-based cybersecurity startup Hadrian raised $40 million to expand an AI-native offensive-security platform that continuously validates exploitable risk.

Hadrian funding round $40M

Amsterdam-based cybersecurity company Hadrian has raised $40 million in a financing co-led by Forgepoint Capital International and SmartFin, with existing investors HV Capital, Motive Partners, Picus Capital and Oetker Ventures also participating. The company says total funding now stands at $65 million.

Entity note: this is the Amsterdam cybersecurity company branded Hadrian, not the U.S. defense-manufacturing company with the same name already covered by Venture Capital Tracker.

What Hadrian sells

Hadrian builds an agentic offensive-security platform intended to continuously discover, validate and prioritize exploitable weaknesses before attackers use them. The company says customers include McKesson, NBCUniversal, Francisco Partners, TotalEnergies, Amadeus, Leroy Merlin and Damen Shipyards.

Why the round matters

Security teams already have large volumes of vulnerability data. The commercial value in Hadrian's pitch is reducing that noise to risks that can actually be exploited and then shortening remediation time.

The company reports materially better visibility and faster remediation among customers, but those are vendor-reported metrics rather than independent benchmarks. The stronger signal will be whether buyers replace periodic penetration testing or other continuous-security tools with Hadrian at scale.

The financing gives the company room to expand geographically and deepen the product, but the category is competitive and increasingly crowded with AI-first security vendors.
