Overview
Wonderful is an Amsterdam-headquartered enterprise AI company founded in 2025 by Bar Winkler (CEO) and Roey Lalazar (CTO). It started as a customer-service agent platform with locally embedded deployment teams and, by the September 2026 Series C, described a model-agnostic “Wonderful AI OS” that coordinates agents, workflows, and applications. TechCrunch said the company now works across more than 35 countries with about 650 employees. On September 2, 2026 Wonderful announced a $550 million Series C; TechCrunch and WSJ reported a $5 billion valuation with Insight Partners leading and Index Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, IVP, Vine Ventures, and 9Yards returning. Salesforce invested for the first time. Disclosed equity through the March Series B was $286 million. ARR was not in the September stories. Insight, Index, and Bessemer have Venture Capital Tracker /fund/ pages; Salesforce, IVP, Vine, and 9Yards do not. This is wonderful.ai, not The Wonderful Company (POM Wonderful).
Why Wonderful is interesting
September 2, 2026: $550 million Series C (company). TechCrunch and the Wall Street Journal put the valuation at $5 billion — 2.5× the March $2 billion Series B in under six months. Insight Partners led again. ARR was not disclosed. WSJ also reported $170 million of employee-share purchases; do not add that to the $550 million.

- On-site / local-market deployment teams that hand work back after a use case is live (company)
- Model-agnostic routing so the customer keeps existing stack ownership (CTO quote via TechCrunch, Sep 2026)
- GDPR-conscious multi-market agent rollouts with embedded local teams
