Reuters reported on September 16, 2026 that ByteDance’s spun-off AI drug unit Anew Labs completed a $290 million inaugural external raise at $1.5 billion. Two people; ByteDance and the investors did not immediately comment. HSG, IDG Capital, and Hillhouse were named as leads; ByteDance retains 56%. HSG is not Sequoia Capital US.
Jack & Jill announced a $40 million Series A on September 15, 2026, led by Air Street Capital, with Creandum and Madrona participating. The company blog printed 380,000 people on Jack and 5,000+ companies on Jill. Valuation, ARR, and hire conversion were not in that post. Seed was $20 million led by Creandum in October 2025 (TechCrunch).
Pulley’s homepage says the YC W20 cap-table company will cease operations on December 8, 2026 and has an exclusive Carta partnership for customer migration.
